Before your Appointment

Avoid blood thinning medications and supplements - aspirin, iburofen, and fish oil. All of these can increase the risk of bruising at the injection site.

Avoid alcohol and tobacco for at least 24 hours before and after your treatment. Both can increase bruising and affect your skin's recovery.

During your appointment
Botox injections are minimally invasive and generally quick, typically taking about 15 to 30 minutes. Most clients describe the feeling as a slight pinch, similar to a mosquito bite.
Aesthetic treatments should be done 21 or more days before a big event to allow time for touch ups if needed.
It is ideal to arrive to your appointment with a clean face. Makeup will need to be removed to clean the skin prior to injecting.
After your Appointment

Avoid lying down 4 hours after the treatment to prevent the Botox from migrating.

Refrain from intense physical activities for 24 hours.

Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, as this may cause the Botox to spread to unintended muscles.

Optimal results appear at 14 days, lasting up to 3–4 months. Expect to follow up with us between 14 to 21 days.
